Hovercraft Information
What is a Hovercraft?
A hovercraft, or air-cushion vehicle (ACV), is a vehicle or craft that
supported by a cushion of air. It can travel over any relatively smooth
surface, such as gently sloping land, water, or marshland, all while
having almost no contact with it.
It's different than a car or boat because you're riding on air. There
are no brakes and no reverse. You have to think ahead and anticipate
your maneuvers.
Hovercrafts are also known as Hoover Craft, Hoovercraft, or even Luftkissenboat.
